The Precision Medicine Innovation Co-Laboratory—or PMedIC—is a joint research collaboration of the Oregon Health & Science University and the U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Our mission: Generate, interpret, and apply multidimensional patient data such as genetic, proteomic, and metabolic profiles, and integrate this information with imaging and clinical results, to customize disease treatment and improve human health.
Our vision: Transform precision medicine, strengthen the regional workforce, and attract top scientific talent to the Northwest.
OHSU and PNNL launched PMedIC on February 14, 2018 at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. See the news release and program, and photos. Media coverage from the launch: Portland Business Journal and Oregon Public Broadcasting.
